ABOUT ME

Shiru Macharia

A trusted Nutrition Coach, Shiru specializes in coaching busy women especially moms who want to get healthy, eat right and train effectively. She is a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach and a trained Pre and Postpartum wellness coach. Shiru is a Program Coach of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition and also an author of a clean eating cookbook with over 70 easy and delicious recipes. Her work has a particular focus on helping women going through the motherhood journey nourish themselves and their families well as well as exercise safely. She is also passionate about helping postpartum moms recover from birth and return to exercise safely while regaining functionality and strength. Through the My Planted Kitchen platform, Shiru runs challenges, offer ebooks and guides and online courses. Shiru is a busy mom of 3 kids (Thando, Kaiyah and Mina) and loves all things fitness and outdoors.
